Logic + Battery Guide?

Whats up guys, I am new to logic and have just purchased battery and am interested in looking into a guide or some form of tutorial on how to use battery really well . Ive messed around with for awhile now and have gotten samples + looked at youtube videos for help, but its really not enough to further my knowledge on it. Anyone know of some book or guide that I can purchase or look into? I know its good to spend countless hours fiddling with stuff and getting adjusted to it but im looking at a more direct route of learning the software. thanks in advance

You should have a manual that comes with Battery. Worth looking into.

I use Battery in Logic as a multi instrument.
Usually I have a separate output for kick, snare/clap, hats, and general percussion.
These will all be sent to separate busses for individual processing and then bussed together for processing all the drums.

In battery you can set the outputs for each cell, as well as use groups, etc. The manual is pretty good in Battery. Its all quite intuitive once you start playing around with it.

I would suggest setting up your busses and some sort of basic battery template with the cells mapped to a midi drum pad or something. Then save this in your Logic song template so it's set up and ready each time you open a song.

Hope this helps a bit.
