Big City Music incommunicado?

If this post is in the wrong spot I do apologize.

Short story is this: I made a purchase from Big City, couple days later informed them I needed to return, they say cool, we traded more emails, I agreed to restocking fee, etc. So I send the product back. I have delivery confirmation stating they received the item over two weeks ago, and since then not a blip, no refund, no emails, nada.

I understand it's a fairly small time boutique operation, but this seems fishy...

Has anyone else had issues with these guys?

They're good people. Why not try the telephone?

Sorry for your woes though. Stuff like that is always frustrating

They are very small. Their store is a glorified shed with stuff thrown all over the place. Very disorganized/cluttered store. So it's not surprising to hear that they're not on top of refunds etc. However I wouldn't worry. These guys are legit and I guarantee you will get your money back. Why don't you just call them tomorrow. They're all really cool people.

I've never tried to get a refund from them, but I've shopped with them several times over the years and never had a problem.

they can seem dodgy at times, but just get them on the phone and you should be fine

For years and years I've heard nothing but good things about Big City Music. In fact I've even heard that Big City Music have stepped into to sort out issues with a certain manufacturer and his bad delivery/build problems to buyers (even tho the goods weren't sold via them )

I'm sure if you called them you'd get a prompt response.

They emailed back, guess everyone got sick at NAMM (they called it "Nammthrax"). Thanks for all the replies!

And remind Roger Big City's owner that star employee Stephi can't survive on a handful of pretzels when shes been working for 9 hours straight! Bring the gal a salad for pete's sake!!!
