This song does indeed break my heart... though I suspect it's not quite in the way the artist meant.

Well if you read Simonator's post, even though he's being sarcastic as people here usually don't like sidechaining that much (it can be useful if done right but it's been waaaaay overused), it is what makes that bass sound like it does. So that's what you should learn to do if you want to get those results.

Side Chain Compression, Sidechaining
