Over cooking the reverb

How can u tell if one has over done it?

There isnt one "right" level of reverb, its an artistic choice.

Sounds fine to me.

Im also confused why you made the track a year ago and now you want feedback?

I don't mind a shitton of reverb but in this track I feel the mix between the dry and reverbed signal isn't quite right.

Listen in headphones. I don't know the psycho-acoustic reasons (though I'd speculate that it's because your brain anticipates reverb in a normal room, but not in cans, so it seems more apparent)... but you can hear the reverb much more clearly.

+1 on headphones. i always tend to add a touch to much listening on monitors cos i is deaf

Remember when you were younger and used to put reverb on EVERYTHING? I sure did back then. Reverb on the vocals, the snare, the highhats, the kick. Hell, put some reverb on that bassline, yeah, that sounds good!
