Never liked Orbital as they are now. Preferred their early stuff, and their pre-orbital stuff when they were called the D.S. Building Contractors.

Both from 1988.

They seem to be putting all their old videos back up on their official you tube channel. Many of these I never saw back in the day.

Interesting video listen and youll see that essentially Phils saying the only stuff he doesn't have to record and process the hell out of to get a good sound is his true analog stuff. Who would have guessed. Phil sounds like a proper gearslut

You could be right about him being a gear slut, for sure. But I don't know. He probably just has a better ear than most people.
