Haha.
Each shop has a different delivery date.
Go back from page 1 of this thread and you'll see that it's a giant mess.

yeah if you watch the NAMM show videos, the reps were saying "April" from the beginning...
All these other crazy dates like "late Feb" etc were the stores putting up and not Arturia's fault at all..
So unless the date changes again on the website within the next day or so, this is it they are finally being shipped.

So it's being made in China? Wonder why they did that. With all the waste involved with shoddy QA.

I ordered from JRRShop.com and they assured me I'd get one from their first batch. It was also a steal of a deal, 20% off and free shipping/no tax, so only $400.00. That all stated, I doubt they'll even get any of the "initial wave" given they're a much smaller retailer than Sweetwater or Musician's Friend.
Not sure if saving $150 bucks or so is worth the extra 1-2 months wait at this point. I want to twist some knobs, dammit.

This update is from the Arturia forum. Nice to have some communication from them! Here is what they say:
Dear MiniBrute enthusiasts,
It is May 30th and many are expecting MiniBrute units to show up at their favorite dealer or their doorstep.
Production is on, but unfortunately at a slow pace. The first units have left the factory and are on their way. But delivering all orders will take much more time than planned.
The truth is that the manufacturing process and the quality tests required more resources that what we planned for. As we cannot compromise, we have to live with scarce supply for a few weeks. But be assured that we are doing our best and working hard to deliver.
We can understand your frustration and apologize to those of you who have been waiting longer than planned. We know that you will be pleased with the final product though. We will try to communicate regularly to let you know the status.
Sincerely,
Arturia MiniBrute Team

Seeing I preordered on January 19, I'm hoping I get one of the first ones.

Not sure what your expensive purchase is but I do remember reading somewhere that Arturia might only be making a specified amount. I'm sure if it's a big hit (which it most likely will be) they will keep making them, but it's something to keep in mind.

Hrm.... yeah I got a lunar voyager and polar ti2 on the horizon...
But since this would give me something to play with in the meantime! Plus I think it could def give me some good sounds even after I buy those two synths

Ah, yeah I would love a voyager but think I'll get the Micromac instead (plus I already have a little phatty and it gives me the moog sound I want). I personally don't like the software in a box synths (e.g. The virus), but to each their own.
I'm sure you know this already but if you buy a synth that is mass produced (and ask nicely) you can usually get a pretty decent discount from the big distributers (Sweetwater, musiciansfriend, etc..). So you could most likely snag the Minibrute for 4 hundred something.... For a nice little analog mono synth with keys that's a really good deal IMO!

No email from store yet.
I'm prolly far down on the list. I am keeping my expectations realistic.
I'd rather they take their time then get stuck with a bum unit.

We need to be patient. I don't doubt they are doing their best.
We all have plenty of gear to play anyways.
I do feel you all though.

Although, half of this thread seems to be about how badly it sucks. Also, it's too cheap & expensive.

How so? Granted I've never been blown away by their software enough to buy it for full price, but I got v1 of CS80v on sale for $75 and a free upgrade to v2 came along a little while later.

Granted they don't sound like the originals (which I didn't expect), but they are solid softsynths.
And I'm not too nervous about the delays for the shipping of the MB. It's their first analogue synth production run and I'm sure Arturia didn't expect so many preorders. Stuff like that can happen.

Spoke to JRRShop. They said they're getting a "few" in the next week or two, and then more in the next month or so. Hopefully I'll be playing this thing by mid June.
