Got a track of mine played on BBC radio last night... lol!!

Forgot I'd sent it in tbh!!

BBC - BBC Hereford & Worcester Programmes - BBC Introducing in Hereford & Worcester, Friday 13th Special - Plus live music from Daniel & The Scandals (Hereford)

I'm on at about 1hr 5mins - track's called "Move your body"

Nothing overly special, which is why I'm surprised it got played! Very Happy
Nice shout out from the DJ afterwards too.

Shame there seems to be a load of glitches on the track (no I didn't send it like that!! )

Thanks for that

Not actually my first, but first in a LONG time (re-calibration of priorities: I went back to the music, rather than the business )

Still, always nice to hear that you're not the only one who likes your music!

Good luck, mate...maybe change the song title to something a little less generic The vocals which also urge "move your body" turn me off, personally...but maybe people like that sort of thing

Those glitches are strange, sounds like someone messing about with a loose cable connection.

The actual tune is very nice, tho'...really takes me back to Reactivate trance. Nice to hear it's still being made.

And is it just me, or has trance bpm got slower since I was listening to it back in late-90's? Techno also, and with Dubstep replacing Breakbeat it seems the trends of today really prefer slower speeds.

Anyway, like others have said if you get airplay it means your stuff is good

Thanks

Title and lyrics/melody aren't designed in anyway to be any more than cheesy pop!! :D

If they're catchy, then that's good - hopefully the backing track holds a fair bit of weight anyway

I listen to current electronic music, but don't really take much from it, apart from some sounds....... remember, I'm an old duffer now (38!)

In all fairness, I'm realistic-enough to know that it won't be a floor filler, but maybe of use on elsewhere, or as part of my album (similar type of stuff tbh)

Agreed; You could never have a House Music Anthem named Move Your Body.
