This is the first time in my life, ever, that i heard about export tax. It's one thing to charge you money for importing stuff into your own country. But what's the point of charging a tax on what you're trying to export? Logically, that doesn't encourage manufacturers to develope equipment for exporting.
And above all, if there's an export tax than it won't matter if i'll buy this from analogue haven. They'll need to pay that as well...

Hey man, I've never heard about export taxes. I googled a bit and found nothing. I think that my fellow brazilian is wrong... One thing is exporting mass production, another thing is to send a package via mail, I don't believe you will pay any taxes besides the one in your country.

By the way, with your post, you've made de Low Pass filter demos stay in the previous page...

I could be wrong of course, but I got the 30% figure googling like this:

imposto exportação 30% - Pesquisa Google

If that doesn't apply in this case then sorry about the noise. I know I have paid high taxes previously to send things international, and with a 60% + other taxes VAT nothing would surprise me. Vinicius would be the right person to ask.

I actually asked vinicius about this and his answer was that he doesn't know and he'll try to find out in the following days...

What a beauty!
What happened to the multi-phaser? Didn't you say you're taking that as well?

YEssssssssssss!!!

It's finally here!! IT exists, it's not a dream!! LOL

Can't believe it... After long 7 months waiting, my baby arrived!!

I'll be messing with it today and tomorrow, I belive that sunday I'll be uploading the first video, a brief introduction to the system and the first video demo of the oscillators in action, all in full HD, and I'll be recording in high sample rate for best fidelity and upload the wav files, no effects will be applied.

I'll try my best to showcase all the parameters of all modules, if you have any sugestions or a certain setup (patch) you want me to do, feel free to contact me.

I'll be opening a new thread for the videos.

Stay tuned!

Excellent, and thanks fo the offer to post samples. Since you asked for suggestions, my only suggestion would be to please use the line out of the synth patched to the line in of the camera. No camera mic audio, please. We would love to hear what the synth sounds like. Not the room. Thanks!

Don't worry about that mate, I'll be recording the output into my DAW and then will paste the soundtrack over the video.

Hi!

I just wanted to say that I'm having the greatest time ever here with the modular system!!! I'm really impressed with the sound and build quality of the modules! I was able to get some really cool sounds out of it without applying any effects.

Tomorrow morning I'm gonna start recording!

First video: The Aether Oscillators

And I think I'm gonna have to order more patch cables lol, I have a lot of cables here but most of them are longer than I thought I would need.

I'm addicted to this thing, I haven't slept properly last night and today I spent almost the whole day in front of the system, my neck, back and arms hurts! Patching is really fun, but also makes you get tired quick! I guess I'll have to go to the gym everyday now instead of 3x a weel lol.

And call me crazy, but I can't see the rhyme or reason with those jack colors.
I like the Serge philosophy of colors relating to CV, Audio, or Triggers.

So, is this a completely new standard/format? That power supply in your
system, is that the type of thing you could export? Like, pass regulations?
Do you know what type of distribution it is (star) ? Voltage (9V, 12V, 15V)?

The modules look really interesting and a self-contained banana format is cool.
I never got in on BugBrand because nothing was ever "in-stock".

looks to me like:
green: audio in
red: audio out
yellow: control in
blue: control out
black: edge? (gate)

There are blue ins. Sine wav is a black out.
Quantizer and Sample + Hold is green in, then red out.
Then black jacks on format conversion.

That is what is throwing me off.

Otherwise I'm with you. Unless a couple of those represent
Midi-CV normalizing (blacks?)
And the Quantizer + S&H can go into audio range as waveshaper +
bit crusher?

Hi mate!

I don't think it's a new format and I think you guys nailed the color coding. This was just a prototype he showed off in a synth meeting... I belive that maybe he ran out of some colors, that's why there's more than one color for the same kind of input.

The power supply delivers +12v / -12v from what he told me, theres a transformer inside that allows you to choose (via swich in the back) between 110v and 220v. I really don't know if there's a problem to export this, I can't tell you that... But I don't know why it couldn't be exported TBH.

The first Video is almost 100% uploaded, in a few minutes I'll be opening the new thread.

LAter I'll be uploading the audio that was recorded into my daw (the one that I placed over the videos).
