Thread Starter | Sampling vocals question
Hi, I'm using Halion 4 on Cubbase 6 its my first time going in depth using the sampler so I'll explain what I am trying to do and maybe someone can help because I am not achieving the sound I want. Basically I have a 5 second Vocal "Ahhhh" and when I import it into Halion 4 everything is great and working ok! the root key plays normal picth ect... but when I travel up the notes it starts to sound way too chipmunk not the best effect when your trying to create your own pad sound, whats the best way I can import the sample across in a formant time stretch type method, I've looked around on video tutorials but have not found one exactly that shows this method. thanks for any help! |
