Ok, so what happened was I recorded some vocals, and was trying to lower the volume on part of the track. So I was fiddling with the change gain settings, and it made the vocal track extremely fuzzy sounding. Like I was talking through a megaphone. So I tried changing the gain back to where it was, but it just got worse. Is there any way I can fix it?

did you check your recording? that's what you should do first. play that recording through another channel (settings of the audio bin), and try if it's ok? for situations like this it's handy to have a "neutral" channelstrip saved that you can choose (and will erase your previous settings) it's quite impossible to tell what happened exactly. maybe an eq got engaged, maybe the wrong samplerate got selected. do you have a screenshot? if the recording is botched, you'll have to do it again. |
