Novation A-Station as a bass unit

Hi,
Looking to add a dedicated unit to my live set. I need an excellent bass unit that can be flexible in creating huge bass sounds plus some flexibility so it can take me places.
I don't want so much to go with the obvious solutions, but I have an option to get a good condition Novation A-Station, which to me looks like an expanded super bass station.
What do you think?

Thanks,
Moshe

I own an A-Station rack unit and while it certainly is capable of some decent bass sounds I wouldn't say that they are its strong point.

It has plenty of pots for tweaking, but they are veeery closely spaced so may prove to be problem when playing live..

I still love my A-Station though and it will feature on maybe 80% of my tracks at some point..
