January was certainly one of my greatest gear months ever. GAS hit hard and it's just finally starting to fade away (I hope). Everything in the rack (including the rack space itself) was from January except for the DP/4. The Virus I got a couple days before Christmas so I'm just squeezing it in here. Nice January gear slutz! Looking forward to February.

I haz a kewl book

1974 edition, not the latest but it is haz the mostest pages (1700+). I saw this on the bookshelf at the Moog factory and was looking for a good copy of this edition for two years.

I'm an EE and am always interested in stuff they didn't teach in college, and there's a LOT of stuff in this book I haven't seen before.

There's even stuff in here that would be useful to you d*g*t*l d*gs

Got some programs for Nebula. Doc Fear, Langevin Filters, Moog Filter, some spring reverbs, and a masterbus program based on folcrom + levr + purple lilpeqr. Makes me lust for the hardware! That last one really blows me away... wonder how it stacks up to other summing solutions (albeit the program has a little inherent eq adjustment).

We await your review....

mijome07 that multitrack is quite a cool little box. clean the transport, heads and demagnetise them (or have it done by someone, it's really kind of simple!)
(that said I still need to buy that crap)
I treat my (simple, stereo) decks as raw phrase samplers. works fine.
(optional) tape saturation per channel is a bonus.

still waiting for customs to clear my modules and Royer mic.
never had that. oh well...

that is a very nice book! a little library on articles, schematics, technical info, patches is very useful. paper is nice because it's not intrusive (during a recording or soldering), reads easier too than a pdf on a screen IMO.

But can it be thrown from the 100-th floor directly on someone's head, would that make him smarter i.e. Steve Balmer.

I had a look at Philips site but I just can't find these jellyfish lights.

Do you have a product number or name on those lights?

I am trying to resist splashing out on a Thermionic Culture Phoenix SC...but they look damn nice for dance music. I already have a Manley Vari-Mu and a Culture Vulture so it may be overkill...someone please try to talk me out of it.

In about 4 months I have bought - Manley Vari-mu, Prism Orpheus, Eventide H8000FW, Thermionic Culture Vulture, Roland Gaia, SE Code 4, Omnisphere, Oberheim SEM, Synthmaster....starting to think I have a problem lol
