mixing choirs

Hey Guys, sorry if this has been posted before. But all I found about choirs was the recording (mic) part.

I want to know if you have any tips for getting the choirs as airy as possible in the mix.

My aim is to get a sound similar to 10 CC - I´m not in love.

The song which this amazing documentary is about:

So any info on processing the recorded choirs to make them sound sort of like the 10 CC ones.

I have a lot of respect for this forum and I hope I won´t be beheaded for this silly question. It´s my first here.

Thanks in advance!

Ohh yeah, I love 10 CC!

tape echos, plate reverbs, maybe some stereo phasing, low cut filters.. and a good recording quality of cause.. the airy choir was recorded as such allready..
was the aphex exciter already around back than? However you dont need them when the source recording sounds fresh enough already.
