YAMAHA CS-15D Service Manual + disappointing YAMAHA JP Service center

Hello dear mates,

So I bought two days ago a part working YAMAHA CS-15D. Joy!
Yamaha CS-15D | Vintage Synth Explorer

It had some problems with presets & non-working keys.

The tech guy (I'm grateful for him) cleaned it, set almost everything up, but he said that the presets' volume level is changing from preset to preset. He need Schematics / Service Manual in order trying fixing it.

I tried ti find... but only found Owner Manual... :(

Do you have, pretty please, YAMAHA CS-15D Schematics / Service Manual?

Truly, as always, appreciate your help!

DEC 10th 2011 UPDATE:
So I emailed YAMAHA JAPAN, and asked for help... if they please would be kind to send my service manual.
This was their (quick) reply:

"Thank you for your inquiry about our products.

We are very sorry that we can't provide you a service manual of CS-15D.
It's confidential material in YAMAHA.

And CS-15D is very old product and we Don't have the spare parts. So it is very difficult that we repair it.

Thanks and best regards

What should/can I do?
It may be a small thing to fix, but I need the service manual to fix it... :(

Appreciate any input!

Never seen schematics for this one on the net.

Contact Yamaha in your country, maybe they can provide you with a copy.

I wish I could help.

I have a hard copy of the CS5's service, but that's nothing like a 15.

Your best bet would see who is selling one and buy it.

In the comments section of this demo video, a poster writes that he has the Service Manual. I would try contacting that user on YouTube.

I can't find the comment now (maybe it got deleted?) but I remember reading it. YouTube user rga24yt specifically mentioned he had a copy of the service manual. Again, I would try contacting him.

You may find you don't need the service manual to fix it. A good tech should have basic knowledge of analog synth circuits and likely component failures (tantalum caps, Yamaha IGxxxx chips, 70s CMOS 4xxx chips) and not need a service manual for everything.

Thanks for your reply.
The tech guy has experience with vintage synths (he fixed well my Korg MS-20 & MS-10).
The tech guy said that the problem is in the organ/presets part of the CS-15D, and that this instrument was never opened before. He fixed all the problems, now the only (important) thing is that the presets volume level in uneven... He wasn't sure about fixing the organ part... so he said, before he try, it would be on the safe side to have the service manual.

Again, appreciate any & every help!
