Crysonic No Brainer Sale! But it seems GS hates them.....

So Crysonic has this thing going on
Bundles :: Crysonic - Professional Audio Plugins VST AU RTAS

I posted this first off in case anyone would be interested in it.

I saw the $58 price tag, saw the pretty colors, and thought that it looked like an amazing deal....and then I did a search on GS and...apparently its not all its cracked up to be.

I also had the thought of "If I have Ozone 4 (and Logic), would I need any of this stuff?".

So is Crysonic still crap according to you guys? And for what I already have, is there any point in getting this "deal"?

So let me get this straight.....their website it constantly down, they don't fix bugs, and their customer support sucks?

How is Crysonic still around?

It's an after-work, one-man programming shop generating cashflow through periodic megasales like this one? Just a wild guess.

I think thats an amazing deal providing the plugs are good. Im not interested (more plugs than I need) but if I were I would try that demo pronto and if I liked them I would buy. Cant go wrong at that price.

Unless you never receive what you paid for, which seems to be the case with some posters here.

plugs r not that good, they distort easy (not Ina pleasant way), and their support and updates is super slow. dont b tempted by the pretty lights, it's all eye candy folks....

While their customer service can admittedly be sub-par, and they can distort easily (which is true for many plugins-- gotta watch that gain-staging!), I feel the need to speak up for them: Some of their plugins do sound fantastic, and many of them are unique tools that incredibly are easy to use. They have an important place in my mixes, and do things that no other plugs do.

The thing I think that Crysonic is -most- guilty of is "guilding the lily" with their updates. They take perfectly useable plugs and add on a bunch of bells and whistles that are not needed and make their plugs harder to use. They should stick to simpler plugs that do unique things well, which is their strong suit, IMO.
