Thread Starter | Lowering the gain on the master on certain part of the tracks, is this okay?
Hi guys, Im making house music and Im working the final mastering directly on the master when Im making the track so to speak..This works for me so no need for dissing this.. My question is, when Im finished with my track I want to lower the volume maybe -1 db in the break of the track so it is the "normal" volume in the drop.. Can I put a gain control on the end of my masterchain and just automate -1 db in the break or will this **** something up?.. |

Have you tried it yet? If not, try it. Did it mess something up when you tried it? If it did, don't do it, if it doesn't, then it's ok. Sent from my PC36100 using Gearslutz.com App

Here is a track I've been working on recently that contains a volume change on the master channel. Come to think of it, I think I've changed the volume on the master at some point in every song I've ever made with a computer. VOLUME CHANGER TRACK |
