Thread Starter | Question for Owners of the Lintronics Minimoog
What would you recommend as a good MIDI controller? I have an Axiom Pro 61. My only other large Keyboard is a Prophet 8. Would either of those work? Thanks. |

Just make sure you get a good MIDI > CV interface. Both keyboards you named should make fine controllers.

Anyway, I have an Axiom Pro 61 too, and I find its keyboard action a bit too heavy for synth playing. Great for piano/electric piano / strings and other expressive instruments, but for fast Minimoog playing, I'd use the Prophet '08 which I think has a lighter action

Nevermind - I was confused with another type of modification.

Any MIDI keyboard will work. I got the Linntronics in my Mini and it also gives you a cool MIDI syncable dedicated LFO.
