I tweaked about for a few days and didn't like it. To me, a box has to me immediate - if I have to worry about gainstaging to get a decent sound out of it, I'm not interested. The sound was just underpowered to me. Totally different from a JP6, and not giving me what I wanted. Seemed easy to make whizz bang sounds with layers and effects etc, but raw synth voices were strangely flatulent.

I have never tried a Jupiter 4 so I don't know. I do love the Jupiter 6 though.

Haha, na, I decided that both A6 and Prophet 5 are really good, however, Andromeda is much harder to use, and I am not very good at synthesis yet.

Not to mention Andromedas are not that rare right now, meanwhile Prophet R2 5's are getting more and more rare.

I will just have P5 for now, and when I have more cash and more experience grab the A6 too. Not to even mention the fact that when that happens, the P5 price would be even more insane due to rarity, so yea.

P.S. If anyone needs A6 (Chinese), mint condition at 3k USD (location Europe, shipping internationally) then PM me.
