Thread Starter | Yamaha CS-40m front panel on presets (can you tweak the presets?)...
Hey guys, When you hit any one of the 20 "presets" on the CS-40m, can you then adjust those with everything on the front panel? I'm playing with one and when I hit one of the presets, not movement on the front panel seems to tweak the sounds (other than mod wheels, etc). BUT, when I hit the "PANEL" button, which is just that one, I guess from starting a soaund from scratch, everything works. Is that normal for the CS-40m? -a |

Are you serious that it's a legit design flaw... or just your ploy to get the synth? ![]() But, seriously, you can't tweak the presets? So the ONLY function all those panel knobs and faders are for is the one non-preset button? ![]() Thanks, I need the help here! -a | |

Yep, it's just like the patch memories on the Jupiter-4... So yes you should sell it (to me). |

If you didn't notice, in CS-40M all the knobs with you can adjust the presets are having white caps, not yellow... that should give you a good indication... and not to forget the wheels.
