Thread Starter | Kong Audio instruments...?¿? Just wondered if anyone here has experience of the Kong Audio instruments... KONG AUDIO - Chinese Instrument ... I've had a play with the demos of Mini Dizi and Mini Erhu, and they sound pretty decent for what they are. I really love the sound of chinese instruments, and these are the only company I'm aware of producing (vst)instruments of this kind. Just looking for opinions on the functionality of the instruments and the decentness of the sound they provide...??? Greatly appreciated. ![]()

I just bought the Erhu for $40 recently. I haven't figured out all the articulation settings, there are quite a few, and you can combine the settings, that's what I haven't quite figured, a couple probably shouldn't be combined, lol. I'm not an erhu expert, but it sounds great, I demo'd the sonivox dvi It's $19.95, but it imo doesn't sound as good or have as many presets, which says something because I really like most of the sonivox samples. For $40 it's a steal! From reading the info for registering and the quin interface I thought I might have problems because it's a little different, but everything went smooth and easy. Like I said, I'm not an erhu expert, if it's not quite authentic it would certainly make a fine instrument unto itself, sounds great! |
