Thread Starter | Prophet '08 issues, questions
Wondering if someone out there could help Picked up a PE keyboard yesterday secondhand. Everything seems to be fine with the pots, encoders But there is one issue that does not seem to be encoder related When setting the LFO,s the controls sporadically lock up Like the processor is struggling, it takes a while and then the Encoders work again, anyone have this issue? Any remedies? Also is there any way to add predelay to the LFO,s Ie Modulation does not kick in immediately. So far I,m digging it but the LFO lockup issue is, well Annoying. Cheers LK |

I don't have a Prophet08, so I don't know the answer to the first issue. If there's no LFO delay parameter, you could try to modulate LFO depth with the 3rd envelope, it has a delay parameter or you could use a slow attack on the envelope to fade in the LFO. Peter.

From the DSI page : You could try a reset of the global parameters : hold Global button + LFO3, this resets the factory defaults. Or try calibration : Global + LFO2. Peter. |

Well tried yor suggestions to no avail, seems to me like this is a O.S. Bug Thanks for the LFO tip, did the trick, shame the LFO,s don,t have individual Delay parameters. Guess an email to DSI is next. Cheers LK |
