Thread Starter  | DX100 Power supply?
I lost the power supply for my Dx100 in my last move... I know a lot of people here own one as well...can anyone suggest a generic replacement that i can get quick and cheap, or should i try to hunt down an original somewhere? Thanks! |

If it says 9V DC on the back any generic adapter will work; most synths with wall-warts are more than happy with anything that can deliver 1000mA. Multi Voltage 1A DC Regulated Power Supply - Batteries Plus Technologies is an option - I have something like it, but I got it in a local electronics store for less than half of what they're asking.

The DX-100 User Manual: http://www.abdn.ac.uk/~mth192/dx7/manuals/dx100-man.pdf There it specifies the AC adapter as Yamaha PA-1210 Further google-ing reveals: 12V Yamaha PA1210 replacement power supply - 12V DC, 2A, plus on tip. Conveniently there is one on ebay: AC Adapter Power Supply Yamaha pa1210 DVE DSA-0151A-12 | eBay or searching ebay direct for DX-100: http://www.ebay.com/itm/12v-300mA-po...0#ht_500wt_957 Although the 300mA on this one seems to bit low. I am guessing based on the Yamaha Product Number (PA-1210), it means (PA) Power Adapter, 12V 1A (1210).

the DX100 adapter is 12V - 2 Amphere like the one i use below, store near my home still selling this kind of adapter and its cheap |
