recommend sequencer plugin for sampling

I'd like to try something different than Logic's Ultrabeat.

Can you guys recommend me a simple and easy to use sequencer for sampling? Looking to buy or download free.

I'll be using my own samples from sample packs.

if you want a step style sequencer in the same way that ultrabeat can be used, then i would say FXpansion's Geist. Motu BPM is pretty good but has got quite a lot of issues in performance and bugs imo. Geist is cheaper too.

Yes, step style is exactly what I need.
I'm definitely going to check out Geist.
