sample pack for a beat like in these Pendulum songs?

Can you guys recommend me a sample pack to similar sounding beats like in these pendulum songs?
I love the kicks and hats in these tracks.
beat starts around 1:41

I might be mistaken but the first video definitely doesn't sound like it would have been taken from a sample pack... sounds like a chopped up break similar to what a lot of other Drum and Bass artists do with the Amen Break... It's just not the Amen Break itself as far as I can tell...

The second one just sounds like generic sounds you can get from any of the Vengeance Packs with plenty of layering/compression and whatever effects you need to use to get the job done.

Thanks! I guess I'll make that one my first sample pack purchase.

Ever heard of Addictive Drums? Any idea if it might work just as good as Steven Slate for this stuff?

I've been thinking about getting it for my other non electronic projects.

just as good? I wouldn't say so but you really should look both of them up, listen to demos and keep in mind that SSD drums are ready to go unlike AD which you have to mix from scratch

if anything, I would choose Superion Drummer 2 over AD

I actually had no idea SSD are all polished up and ready to go. I thought it was just another program like Superior Drummer or Addictive Drums but without the midi grooves content or the virtual drum kit.

I'm definitely gonna try it out.

Native Instruments "Synthetic drums 2"

Includes Pendulum kit for Battery and midi patterns.
It's not on sale anymore, so check out eBay or something like this.

This, they've been using those drums since the beginning of time, well I guess, it is the Pendulum sound. I spent many hours trying to get that sound(I had their samples but wanted to learn/make my own versions :D ) many years ago when i was dabbling in DnB.

So yeah what you need is the kit above, do a search on DogsonAcid, I got the samples off there years ago, Think I only kept the kick and snare though so not the whole kit otherwise I would have uploaded it for you.

the NI battery kit is very good. search youtube for the chase and status computer music tutorial as it will prob give you a better idea of how dnb drum tracks are put together.
