Thread Starter | litty phatty vst editor - anyone using?
I am just wondering exactly where you open the VST editor? Let's say I have the LP setup as an eternal synth in Cubase 5.5, which means the MIDI path and audio path are already setup and saved in Cubase's settings. I make a new instrument track and i will be able to play midi to the synth and audio will sound. Where do I pull up the editor? Will in interfere with Cubase sending midi notes to the synth? Can I still use LP setup as an "enternal synth" or do i need to do something different? The reason why I ask is this verbiage from their website on the Juno 106 editor: "The VST-AU JUNO-106 Editorâ„¢ is based on an entirely new framework that allows you to select the MIDI input and output ports directly from within the editor itself.....MIDI ports that are already in use by the host will show as 'Not Available', so it's easy to avoid MIDI port selection mistakes and crashes." Doesn't that mean that if I already have the LP midi ports in use by Cubase by selecting an instrument track with the LP loaded as an "external synth", I will not be able to select those same ports within the editor??? Please explain. Thanks. |
