I almost pooped my pants a little when I saw this. There's also a 14-minute vid showing the process. ‪AudioGL Pre Beta Demonstration Video - Music Software‬‏ - YouTube Is this the future? Or a gimmick? ![]() |

Yep, there was a thread on it when it was featured on CDM a month or so ago. The quality of music coming from it in the demos seems highly promising. |

I see things like this and I have ask, is it just too hard to write music anymore? Are people more concerned with taking credit for something some software did rather than actually writing it themselves? My bad, you controlled parameters and had a relationship with "electrons" and "living electricity". Got ya. |

| Don't know why a search didn't show these up: AudioGL Project - Glimpse of the future 3D interface DAW AudioGL, a threedimensional DAW If the thread had a more relevant title, it should have suggested these automatically as the ones above both also say 'AudioGL' clearly in the title. |

Wow. Hadn't seen this before. Really, really inspiring stuff. The only thing I don't like about it is the drum sounds. I would have to use the sampler to rock my own samples. Otherwise, this thing looks like a dream come true. |

you would be able to make many more drum sounds of different character to the ones in the demo. | |

slick presentation. exciting prospects. not sure about user interface. huge screen and modern computer required. synthesized sounds of the demo have some character. bring it on. the more the merrier! |

If the dev cycle on this is another 3 years I can easily see using it with the Kinetic/Wii/3DTV that will be in every household. OTHO I am pretty accustomed to the tight GUIs of today's softsynths. I think modular-looking vsts like Tassman are somewhat unwieldy. I can only imagine a virtual reality-goggle wearing bedroom producer falling out their window as they try to find a compressor. |

Yeah, great toy. The music sounds familiar. Like, err, stuff I've heard before. It's as exciting as the Reaktable; where all the fun is in the toy, not the result. I'll bet those who buy it will try to impress us they used this synth to make the music that sounds like it was created without this synth. |
