Joey Negro Remix Contest - Anyone wanna mix/collab?

Cool contest, original is def pop city but the stems are good and it's been a fun project so far, not to mention Z records is amazing... Akabu anyone? It would be great to turn out a final product that they dig and get some recognition in the contest. In any case thought i'd post this to the board and seewhos interested in the im actually looking to collab -

Specifically looking for someone with mixing skills to help but def open to musical collab as well, though I already have my remix well on it's way.

it seems rather loud for not being mix down...

hmm that's interesting, no clipping or limiting in ableton - it's probably due to the stems being produced in that way, lotsa processing etc i'd imagine...?

not sure bro, I just listened right quick on the sc link and was like dayum....

that kinda loud for a song that is in the mixing stage.

I am no pro, but my mixdown with just drums sit about- 10 and with all elements run about -7 -6 db...

I guess my main question would be do you have anythng on the master buss?

Sorry but it seems to me your missing some of the vital elements of the original in yours. Like the vocal hook with brass on the small breakdowns...

nothing on the master bus, i do think it's the way the stems were mixed

in regards to missing vital elements, mmm i guess that's an artistic judgement call?
this is more elements from the original than i'd generally even have in a remix...
