Great Sound of Profecy

Can anyone tell me how this sound that starts at second 23 could have been made? I mean oscilators, filters effects... Thanks a lot!

which sound? edit - the bells?

VSE says the Prophecy uses "physical modeling" instead of normal oscillators so I couldn't really comment. On a regular synth I'd say some combination of square oscs and bandpass filters.

You also have VPM on the Prophecy, which is great to create FM sounds.
Probably that's what made the sound you want...

Pretty sure it's one of the guitar presets showing the physical modeling of the prophecy.

Without that synth or a rompler, try using a a single pulse waveform, set the width narrow. Just slightly bring down a low pass filter but, keep it sutble so it is still clear and assign velocity to open the filter and also to make the width thinner to simulate harder playing of the string.

its one of the presets using the plucked string physical model. Without a physical modeling synth you can set up a Karplus-Strong patch in a modular system using a very short delay with its delay time tracking the keyboard. you will also need a gentle filter and noise impluse - look up Karplus-Strong synthesis for the patch. The Prophecy has a very nice plucked model that goes beyond the basic Karplus-Strong patch however.

your best bet is to get a Prophecy or Z1. Z1 sounds different though (I have had both) also look for other string modeling synths like the VL1 or Nord G2

Logic has Sculpture, and Live has Tension which also do plucked string models.
