soundquest midiquest + touchosc / hardware map

Has anyone successfully mapped a hardware MIDI controller's dials or some sort of virtual TouchOSC interface to MidiQuest?

I know some of you must be shuddering at the idea of using something so buggy as an intermediate, but I can't think of an easier way to configure hardware or virtual controls to map to a synth.

I use MidiQuest mainly to control a TX7. Despite the bugginess, I like the fact that it gives access to all available parameters on one screen. Unfortunately it's not very intuitive to manipulate parameters while playing. So, ideally - i'd like to remap all paramaters to a more easily accessed interface.

Any ideas would be much appreciated.
