Unfortunately the mc 505 was very unpopular. It could be said it was the New Zealand of Roland products because it was hated so much and could only make sounds that resembled a bleating sheep. Fortunately, I will be visiting the country in October and would be more than happy to dispose of the product for a nominal fee? |

The Roland MC-505 was an unprecedented move forward for integrated groovebox technology... it's status and quality are legendary, especially compared to what was available at the time of it's release. I have owned every version of the Roland groovebox and I think they are all fantastic machines that allow you to compose, perform, record, sample, and integrate easily into larger setups. The MC-909 even lets you insert your own tracks to be performed through the device, unbelievable! Anyways, i just wanted to show some love for the groovebox... have you contacted your closest certified Roland repair center? Or the headquarters for Roland itself?
