shopping finished tracks

hi folks!

ive got a couple of finished tracks, electronic genre based, that would
be suitable for the uk/us pop/radio market. i would like to shop them to a few
well known singer/sartists (why not start at the top), but dont know whom to contact first. should i look up the artists managers and email them or something?
spose there s a lot of people doin that..
been releasin undeground records for 10 years now and want to move into pop production really.
any ideas? well appreciated!

Sounds like you are seeking a publisher;

... But I think most of the larger pop acts will all have tracks written for them specifically, by commission.

Chrysalis is the first one that springs to mind.

You should probably get together a few tracks to create a demo to send them.
