Mixed In Key V5 - Any Rumours / Inside Info / News?

I'm thinking of getting mixed in key but with a lot of talk on the forum and it having been a while since v4 released I don't know whether to wait or not. I don't want to end up paying another extra 50% for an upgrade a few weeks or a month down the line.

What are your thoughts on v4's accuracy vs older versions?

How's the accuracy in general? Is it anywhere near this good:
Harmonic Mixing Pt 3: Lab Report

How smoothly is it running on OSX Snow Leopard / Lion?

Any issues with art work / tags?

Thanks

Since now beatport tells you the key of every track (and the tracks I want to analize are those which I buy for djing) Mixed in key seems redundant, also there is rapid evolution which is free. Acuracy of both is similar with about 3 errors of every 10 tracks analized .

I haven't heard many things running on Lion well just yet but it's probably fine on Snow Leopard.

Is this a joke ?

People are actually buying a piece of software to tell them what key their own track is in ? !

What a con !

Could be a whole new low in education and actually learning about your art.

Beer - MixedInKey is for DJs who want to mix tracks harmonically. It is a timesaver as it can tag music files with their musical keys automatically.

Not exactly a con when you can drag and drop 1000 mp3's into it, hit "analyze" and walk away.....

Forgive my impudence I didn't realise it was designed for special needs.

Be interested to see what it can do when it has 90% tracks in Cmaj, Dminor, Aminor .... and then it gets a track in F sharp.......cos that aint gonna be much use.

What about tracks that modulate ? or tracks with suspensions ... ha ha, no, this is EDM we're talking about so not a problem !

But really, for decades DJs have got away without this sort of gimmick but now not only do they not need to worry about tempo sync cos Live does it for you, they don't need to worry about holding their vinyl and getting the set sorted.cos it's all on the hard drive...... but now they can have the the key sorted for them too ? !...... is there a plug in to wipe their arses too ?
