Thread Starter | Triton Expansion Board Question
I'm asking this about 7 years after I put my Vintage Archive Expansion board in my Triton. Its in bank D, which of course overrides the pre installed sounds in bank D. If I take it out I can use the factory bank D again. I can't install it in any of the other 3 banks can I? I'd love to override bank E or G (General MIDI).

What you are installing are just presets. If you just extract the bank itself, you can install it in bank A, B, C, D or E. You can't install any presets in bank G. Also, you can use the waveforms from the expansion in any bank you want. |

From what I experienced - you don't install anything but waveforms with plugging your expansion card. You need floppy disk with presets in order to install those patches. Or at least that's how it worked when I tried it with Karma.
