Thread Starter | Novation Remote 37sl Notes stuck. Need some help please!!
I recently dusted off my remote 37sl after a long hiatus from making music. I first did an update to the latest version of automap and followed all the steps to update the keyboard itself. I then restarted it as instructed and there seems to be two stucks notes! The notes C1 and C#1 are toggling rapidly. When I go to the edit window I can see that drum pad 1 and 2 are flashing rapidly. The problem is not program specific as I have tried several DAWs including Pro Tools 9, Logic 9, and Reason 4. I also used a midi monitor program to confirm that indeed C1 and C#1 are going off. It looks like they are about 100 notes going off per second. Needless to say it is entirely unusable this way. To the best of my knowledge there has been no physical damage to the unit And everything else seems to be functioning properly. Any ideas about what I could do? Any help is appreciated. NOVATION TECHNICAL SUPPORT HAS BEEN ABSOLUTELY NO HELP IN THE MATTER (LIVING UP TO THEIR REPUTATION). |

Hi Calisoul, Sorry to hear you are having some issues with your Remote SL. I cannot find any reference of your email address in our support system. Did you get in touch via the contact form? Have you been assigned a case number? It unfortunately sounds like there may be a hardware fault with the unit. Have you tried updating the system settings via Automap? DEVICES > REMOTE SL > UPDATE SYSTEM SETTINGS. Alternatively, you could try a forced update via Midi as per the below article: The Official Source for Novation Product Support and Information .: Novation Answerbase ... php?id=559 Let me know how you originally contacted us and I will do my utmost to assist you with this issue. Best regards, Tim Focusrite / Novation |
