Thread Starter | Sade - Love Is Stronger. "Ahhh" pad/synth stabs sound? I really dig on the stab that kinda sounds like an "Ahhhh" sound pad that happens every 1 bar. Sounds like it could be simple and from a poly. How do I get/program this sound? I have a Matrix 1000 and a Juno 60. I've been searching in the M1000 all the time for this sound, but can't find anything close to it. Also been trying to program my J60 to make it, with no luck (I am a n00b at synthesis). My only other synth really is TX81Z, which it obviously cannot make that sound (unless I heavily process a sound in it perhaps with a lot of filtering). Other than the, my only other instruments ar a Mirage, S950 and MPC60...or maybe I should just look for the record and sample it, lol. Any help greatly appreciated. |

YO! Everytime I hear Sade's music it gives me goosebumps. It reminds me of past relationships. It reminds me of the music my mother would play when I was a kid. On the production note, I wouldnt be surprised they sampled Sade doing that. |

Here is a live perf of that same song, with that sound a bit more pronounced...the "Ahhh" sounds a little diff, but close to the original...they don't show the keyboard they used on stage though :/ |

try Spectrasonics Symphony of Voices Kind of sounds like a better version of the old Asr-10 choir sample that came with the keyboard. |
