Hi All I need some advice on remixing. I want to create a good progressive house mix of Michael Jackson's - You Rock My World. I have the acappella WAV file but I have a few questions which I hope can be answered? I am using Cubase SX 3 by the way on a Windows XP System. 1. How do I find out the key of the song? - I need to know my starting note to be able to start making ideas. 2. In order for the vocals to match the session tempo wise, how do I set this up in Cubase SX 3? Are there any plug-ins that can help with this? I would ideally like the sessions to be 128 tempo but I know this may not work considering the song is actually quite slow. This for me is the most confusing area on how I get the vocals to match the session and tempo? 3. Are they any plug-ins, VSTs that I should be using to remix that are good for vocals and using acappellas? |

1: E-minor 2: Audiowarp, refer to the manual 3: no. It's already polished.
