MPC 3000 Midi Assignment

Hi Guys,

Whats the standard assignment for pads to midi notes on a MPC3000 ?

I bought mine off the bay and I think its been changed, but I haven't had it that long so I'm not sure.

I'm using Midi Ox and the pads are coming as

1 - 37 C1#
2 - 36 C1
3 - 42 F1#
4 - 82 A4#
5 - 40 E1
6 - 38 D1

The pads come with a General MIDI assignment but most people just repropram them either chromaticly or to match what ever they are triggering externally.
If you download the manual it will tell you how to change assignments.

Yep, GM. Thats why at first glance the assignments dont make much sense. The note numbers match the GM assignments for the sounds that have their names printed on the MPC casing above each pad.
