| Lives for gear | Help finding this snare sound
Soundheads, help! I am interested in getting my hands on this snare sound. It's an oldie, early electronic track from Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence by Ryuichi Sakamoto. I would love to know where I can find a similar sample, or how I might go about recreating what he did. Here's a snippet: |

Wow, I have a bunch of Linndrum samples, but nothing sounds close to that! Is it in the processing? Any ideas?

There“s a bit reverb yes but there is also a white noise sound layered on the same beat. WT
