Any tip on how to create a pad that sound like this? Any specific synth recommendation?

My guess is wavetable oscillators and a high-pass filter.

just heard it on laptop speakers, but some sort of chrystal echo effect could be used here... i know eventides have them, and sound toys chrystalizer (sp?).
