sadly, this is not true, based on previous experience with this thread. there have even been mock threads.

but let us experiment.

I challenge all of you flamers to stop flaming me.

In turn, I will not respond to anymore flames today. This has certainly not helped.

there. I am waving the white flag. And I apologize for my role in this: I should have confined my posts to one thread. I will do that in the future.

Can we still ban him just for re-assurance?

To be fair, you have been too far the other way. You've been too focussed on contributing nothing but direct insults at Fooloof.

Yes, we have all been critical, but you have taken it too far down the playground-bullying, mob-mentality route. You should chill-out, forget about this monster thread, and focus on the rest of the forum.

For just about $2000 you could get a Mos-Lab 8A which sounds awesome IMHO but has less capability than a MiniMoog D (missing one VCO, Noise source and keyboard etc)

Yes, but does it have:

- the ramp waveform
- the mistake in the filter design
- the not-so-hi-fi output stage?

I've honestly thought about doing this - I'm sure it sounds great. I just don't know if I could ever convince myself that it was "just as good" as a Minimoog.

SO, THIS IS THE END? You have been given more than you're owed.

Can you please publicly admit now that EACH and EVERY of your Moog related questions HAVE been answered (sometimes more than once) by fellow Gearslutz members throughout all your threads...

So, for all the annoyance and flaming, you need to be thankful that this forum, this community, "we" persoanally came through with help for YOU when all is said and done.

It would do you good to be thankful for what we've given you here instead of acting like you've been wronged.

Shall the Mods make a Q&A stickie for you of your Moog needs that are sprinkled throughtout this enitre thread?

In the end, you've been given more than you're owed. Be thankful, please.

Hehe, well, what is more important? The means or the end result? I'm VERY superficial so if I have my heart set on something that looks a certain way I wouldn't be happy either settling for something else! But since a Mini is just a very small modular in a convinient well thought out package, if you want great sound and convienience, get a mini by all means. But, if you want a synth that is sonically more versitle AND sounds even better than a mini, then get a medium sized modular! (yes, a medium to large modular totally kicks a mini's ass, no if ands or buts . . I don't want to hear any arguments out you folks . . . shh! . . .SHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!! I mean it! )
