Thread Starter | PROTOOLS NORD 2x and ARP MIDI OUT
CAnt seem to get this to work properly without midi feedback and issues - what am i doing wrong here? i have midi in and out of nord to unitor which is connected to protools... set up midi track - turn arp midi out on and record and it works but causes weird feedback? help?

Do you have "all ins" selected on the track? try a different MIDI in channel, and different MIDI out channel. Or, set the Nord to send on one channel and receive on another.

Still having problems with this one.... turned the nord to local off - arp to midi is on however it goes a bit nuts and midi feedbacks still even with local off..... HELP? am i missing a trick here? says in the nord manual... "Be sure to turn the Arpeggio MIDI Out feature off if you are using Nord Lead 2X in Local Off mode and/or in a “Thru-loop” with a sequencer, other MIDI instruments etc! Under such conditions, the Arpeggio MIDI Out feature will either prevent the instrument from sounding at all, or cause a MIDI feedback loop." not sure how this effects my setup i have the nord in and out to a unitor to logic on one port on channels 1-4 cheers in advance |
