Thread Starter | is there an rtas arpeggiator plugin?
i've been digging around on both here and google for hours now, and i can't seem to find one. there are some cool lookin ones for vst, but i can't run vst - since i'm asking for rtas i'm kinda obviously working with pro tools. i've already got reason and i love their arp module, i just wish i could use something similar (if not better!) with all my other soft synths. does this product even exist? it should! both hypercyclic and arpg8r look like they would be perfect if they weren't vst only. ![]() hypercyclic 1.0 ARPG8R | 32step VSTi MIDI Arpeggiator. |

ps i know you can export rpg-8 output as midi, but a) it's a pain, and b) it's just not the same as jamming out on the synth you want to arpeggiate in real time... |

Have you tried using Fxpansion vst to RTAS it may solve your problem, then you could use say, 7Alians ...

tbh i haven't, though i have several of their synths and love them. i guess i just figure the farther i go from native the more buggy my setups gonna be, plugins going to plugins just sound like they're gonna make my shit crash in the middle of my best improv/most important session ever. so, i guess no one knows of an rtas arppegiator? damn. ps. also, i guess i should have mentioned i'm a mac, a couple of those arp vst plugs do come in mac flavor but not the 7aliens one... |

| Actually none that I can think of... Which is kind of strange. I guess there are some other virtual instruments that you perhaps could go through and use their arpeggiators but even if that would work it would be a hassle. Someone should really make an arp plugin!
