I purchased the ensemble version for Reaktor (I have an iMac) and it's simply AMAZING! very analog and warm, and so close to the 80's sound. v2.3 is clear and CPU friendly.

comparison of the OP-X Pro to my OB8. Unison test a did a few months back.

Please excuse the shoddy playing - Im not great at the keys, had no MIDI and was kind of dicking around with my OB8 and Macbook whilst at my parents crib. They have a good synth tech nearby....thought I might as well put it up here tho.

Good for the money but sucks in terms of usability compared to the OB-Xa & OB-8. Its kind of why the jupiter 8 is so rated but the rack mounts get overlooked.

Has anyone compared arturia sem with the hardware Oberheims? Might be interesting. It's a real shame they don't do a proper mac version of the O-PX actually or I would have bought it for sure.

I acquired the Pro II PC version recently and have been taking it through its paces. It sound full, rich and think. Been going through some of the Duran Duran and Rush patches. Pretty cool. I have a quad core so no grotesque CPU bumps. The only thing I don't like is the tiny size of some of the smaller inscriptions. My desktop resolution is 1920x1280. Yeah, more real estate in Cubase but it makes some of my plugins hard to read.
