FWIW, I had one along time ago. It came as part of a used deal with 2 electribes and a Roland A-30? controller keyboard.

It had some pretty good presets and if I remember rightly, a pretty good selection of drum sounds for its time, but I sold it fairly quickly, so I don't think it was anything particularly spectacular.

Some details and reviews here

Nice little synth (Ironically, I actually produced my first mainstream single with it !).

It primarily has GM Sounds in it and some kits but it can be edited and sounds good.

If you're looking for 'Wow', you won't get it from the DS-330, but if you want a good bread & butter GM synth that has editing capabilities and if you can get it for a reasonable price, go for it.

It's one of those synths that most people would never give a second look at but once they hear it they'd probably say, "Hey, that little thing has got a few sounds in it".
