A= 11 (includes drum machines)
B= 8200
c=0.1
d=0

GS CoE = -7454
(not including modular and H/W effects)

Plus I'm adding a slutty-assed Cirklon Sequencer before this summer
(I'm like # 40 on the list)

Hah, my estimated annual revenue is already negative! Guess I don't even need to further calculate then...

A= 39 (35 synths + 4 drum machines, no HW sequencers, studio, effects included)
B= $75,480.00 (estimated market value, ja there are quite some collectables in there)
c=0.1
d=0

Result: -19,353.85

For D, does money from live shows count, or are we only talking money you made selling your tracks?

D = Estimated annual revenue (if any!)

Formula:

D - ((B/A)/C) = Gearslutz co-efficient

The higher the negative number, the bigger the 'Slut; the higher the postive number, congrats you're making your gear work for its keep!
A = 35 (including samplers & modules)
B = 5000
C = 1000
D = 0 (no idea, not active right now)

I'm a bit lost what I need to work out, plus I'll be on a selling spree these next few months, so by the end of the summer will probably only have about 5 synths left.

A = 12
B = 20000 (approx.)
C = 0.1 (all my music is available for free)
D = 0

Result: -16500 (approx.)

One interesting modification is to let A be the number of synths you use regularly, and B their estimated cost. In this case, I have

A = 3 (dotcom modular, nord g2, nord lead 3)
B = 10000 (approx.)

Result: -30000 (approx.)

The fact that I'm about to buy an euro rig and expand my dotcom this year probably won't help increasing my score.
