Hehe nice I see you have that dark psy vibe going to it but more warm sounding in the vein of techno

Ok I have something that could get finished maybe in the future

I've got an opening 10s ambient teaser but I don't know if anyone would be interested in listening to the evolving silence

Sounds good, Pier, but that's a finished track. We're talking about in-progress teasers of a few seconds

Thanks guys glad you like it

So this means that the track is a go for finishing... I still have a lot of work... I spent some good hours yesterday only on the percussive sounds and just used a spaced out synth melodic sequence to fill in the gap... but I have to figure out the story that's coming from all this composition.. GOOD I am sooo lazy after the sound-design part is over I feel so frustrated into making all those little touches and wrap it up.

No man just put 10 seconds of it back... I really like how it sounds and just refreshed and it's gone...

BTW I really like Erphun for that mainstage dark techno vibe... reaaaly nice punchy hard but also smooth and deep... and you have that going in the remix...

you say it's your first EDM since 2006... maaaaan you should really keep at it you've got a great vibe going..

Make some more

Yeah, I'm like that once I get a nice groove going, then I just tend to jam with it....must have hundreds like that...they just morph from the last one, like this one:

http://soundcloud.com/dhollmusik/t2

A bit of discipline wouldn't go amiss (sequencing, then mastering)...DJ's are always looking for fresh new tunes to play, so the more we can provide for them the better

oh yes...me like. reminds me of old-school techno...nicely hypnotic and good to hear a kickdrum that's not entirely 4-4

Exactly discipline... See how Alehoe really pays attention to details thumbsup on those electro tracks... he got out of the wanking over nice grooves phase and now he makes every bar count...

..look at dark psy for example how sequenced and hypnotic it is buuut at the same time all those changes of direction and fx etc... I mean not all of the tracks have this nice thing that techno gives you.. like an amazing loop that really keeps you going.. but some of them have this and also all those changes.

Yeah this thread is really nice [ dhollmusik ] and I see already a similar feel to most the tracks posted.. Maybe if they keep coming and have similar vibe to it we should do a Gearslutz the Dark-Trippy-Deep-Techno Edition compilation HA!!

Good idea.. btw this thread should be a STICKY!!!

my stuff is more on a the hard/funky/silly tip.. .but maybe I could channel into the old Oliver Ho/James Ruskin/Blueprint vibe... now that I actually own gear that can do it.. (back in those days I had a 606, 202, poly 800 and Arp Axxe).

Yeah man go for it... just tap into that deep vibe. James Ruskin has some really nice newish (last 2 years) tracks now that keep going and going dancy but also deep as the ocean..

Funky funny silly stuff is cool... just listen to Siriusmo's latest album good vibes and lots of details
