OASYS PCI - what's a fair price?

Sorry to start a silly thread, but looking for some advice. I have a chance to make an offer on an OASYS PCI, and just wondering what they go for these days? Haven't really noticed one sell for a while.

Thanks for any help.

A quick search revealed one sold mid time last year for $300. So I guess they may have risen a tad since.

Remember the software only supports up to Win98 (I think).

Damn fine piece of kit though from all accounts.

I'm sure Aeon will agree! thumbsup

The lowest I've ever seen it for is $200, $300 would be perfectly reasonable, $400 would be high perhaps, depending on actual scarcity of the unit which I'm not sure about, they were fairly common on ebay for a while. I paid $500 once years ago and it was worth it at the time. When switching between many patches, it is slightly more stable on the mac platform, a few 3rd party patches can crash the editor on occasion in win98, both platforms are perfectly usable.

Thanks folk. I'm offering 300. That was what I was thinking before, as well.

Cheers,

Oli
