I saw them last year here in Seattle. Great show! Got some vids as well. Would be awesome to see that tour with Die Krupps.

I saw them open for Depeche Mode in Miami a long time ago. 15 years ago? Wilder was still in DM.

Oh man, I would've looooved to have seen that show. I think that was about the time Flood turned them into a 'rock' band.

What sucked was the girls were screaming all through Depeche Mode. It was deafening. We could not stay inside the whole time because the girls were so loud. It really sucked as they would not stop.

I could quickly see why The Beatles stopped touring.

Very depressing because DM were very good. I had followed them since their first album including Daniel Miller, Dan's Silicon Teens, and Frank Tovey aka Fad Gadget's stuff pre-DM getting signed.

I think a lot of the crowd had not clue who NE was. This was possibly around the time Allan Wilder was producing some of their stuff.

Nitzer Ebb

I saw NE back in the 90s on several occasions.

At the Tic Toc club in Coventry, UK - rough gig. Just after Ebbhead had been released. I remember stage diving, missing and getting trampled on. Great days !!!!

I can't believe they released a new album last year - I totally missed it.

wow, I haven't heard these guys in years.
just checked out their latest, glad to hear they still have their classic sound.

btw, what's that perc sound they use on Promises?
it sounds kinda like a high pitched compressed snare or maybe a roto tom.

been listening to more of Industrial Complex.
I like it, but I liked these guys a lot more when I didn't know anything about synths.

Some of these trax I hear and think, 'man, thats a great detuned PWM'

actually, KissKissBangBang reminds me of Kenny Loggin's Footloose, just the intro. I know it's crazy, but try it, "I been working so hard, Keep punching my card"

we'll they've already toured the US twice in support of this album, so I doubt there'll be any more dates in the US...

I went to see NE in Mexico city last year. It was a big disappointment...

Honestly I didn't know who they were (I'm 30) but a friend (40) convinced me and two other friends saying it was good electronica... and in fact it was more of a rock band.

The sound was so loud and terrible we stayed for a few songs and then left. We spent most of the time protecting our ears with our hands...

Rock band? Hardly.

Shitty sound? That's the clubs fault, not the band's.

I saw NE twice, '91 & '94 if I remember right. It is so hard to have a good live performance ov industrial music and they were some ov thee best! If I remember right, Manilyn Manson opened up for them when I saw them in Ybor City, Fl. They were ok. I didn't think they would make it so big. The second time I saw them was in Atlanta. I couldn't believe there was only like 100 or so people there. They still kicked a$$ tho. One ov the greatest industrial bands ov all time for sure. I should check out the new cd. I'm way out ov touch with modern industrial. The electric guitar really screwed things up for a lot ov bands. I play and love guitar, just doesn't belong in industrial as much as it started to pop up. Fire, fire, fire.................

Sounds like the last Dinosaur Jr concert we went to! I swear 90% of the crowd left the indoor stadium - it was so friggin loud! Our ears were ringing all night...thanks J Mascis!

Sure... but shitty anyway.

Even the guy that convinced us to go was very disappointed with their setup.
