That I would buy. Even a knobby Mono Evolver would be sweet.

Ditto, although I really think it's already priced pretty close to what I'd expect to pay for a knobby version.

If they could make a 3-space rack version with knob layout like P08, I'd pay a few hundred more, but not really A LOT more, I'd rather get the KB at that point.

yeah fair play

If a Monoevolver KB PE Edition is coming out in the summer though, you can expect that to be be around $200 give or take more than the current model so 14-1500ish, I would def buy a 3 rack (PE) knob version of that for 1000

but yeah for the poly I would prob rather just go all out at that point

exactly... I'm picturing it looking like the old Novation Supernova rack. according to my Evolver manual, you can program the PolyEvolver rack with the mono Evolver desktop. gives you a few more knobs and the matrix anyways.

i bought it expressly because it was 1ru for what its worth. 3 x korg nano controls for $150 and that's 27 sliders / knobs + 48 buttons....not the same I know.

Vverevvolf grehv was using a Poly Evolver Rack as a guitar distortion unit when opening for Skinny Puppy. Maddening use of distortion + feedback.

We saw Puppy in Cleveland and that show was off the hook. We even took my girlfriend's 7 year old boy and 11 year old girl to give them some warm and fuzzy childhood memories. There were all these people coming up to us... "Damn, you're the coolest parents in the world! I wish my parents were that cool!" etc.

That Vverevvolf grehv played an interesting set. I meant to buy that dude's CD but I forgot. Thanks for reminding me to pick it up. I didn't notice the Poly Evolver rack though. All I remember was a Mac laptop and a Digidesign interface. I was further back near the bar at that point though.

I had a PER/MEK combo for a while, but I sold them last year and sorta regret it. It was a great combo and having that extra voice was a nice touch.

The PE rack is killer. I thought mine would eventually go up in value when I heard they were discontinued but I won't begrudge y'all getting in on the fun.

I picked up a second hand PER yesterday. Just over half price and it was never used! I was lucky there as DSI synths are quite rare in Russia. I ordered a new one from the UK just two days before I found this second hand one. I'll keep them both and have 8 voices to play with. I'm also on the verge of getting a MEK as an extra voice and controller.

Anyway, I spent all last evening just going through the presets. It sounds great - I can't wait to program my own. I'll have to map my Novation SL for tweaking until I get my MEK.

I have another DSI question but I'll save that for a new thread.

Poly Evolver Rack is back where ?
They are out of production again due to being too expensive to produce.
