RULES:

  1. Please put your ad in classifieds. This is a Music Production forum, not a selling board.
  2. Anyway, you are allowed for an exception: If you still think the sale might interest members of this section, you are allowed to post a new ad in our subforum once every 30 days. In such case you have to include SPAM in the title and a LINK (URL address) to the actual ad in classifieds (to link: go to your ad in classifieds, select its URL address from the top of the screen in your browser and paste it in your ad). If you don't do that, your post will automatically be treated as spamming and will result in 1 infraction point.
  3. You have 1 bump allowed for the life of the ad in Music Production subforum.
  4. Users with less than 300 Posts are NOT allowed to put their ads in our sub forum. Their threads will automatically be removed. Contribute something to the forum!
  5. IMPORTANT: No eBay auction URLs allowed!!
  6. Breaking several rules at once will result you being kicked off the forum for 7 days.

If you want to buy something, again, please go to Classifieds section. Unless you think it is something rare* that only users of Music Production forum might have it. In that case you are free to post here, please include WTB in the title. IMPORTANT: You are allowed 1 WTB bump per month (that is, your own bump).

*obviously Juno 106, 303 or M1 aren't rare. So you get the point.

YouTube:

take the ID tag (a sequence of numbers and letters)
and put between tags
like so (quote this post if you want to see the raw code)

original URL: YouTube - Funny kitten can't jump

Soundcloud:

take the whole URL
and put between tags
like so
original URL: Veqtor - My AFG can do THIS?! - SoundCloud
http://soundcloud.com/veqtor/xfilt-vs-afg-vs-cenvlfo-vs-r-ringmod

Vimeo:
same as youtube

Soundcloud
step by step instruction

Go to your Soundcloud page where the song is.

Copy it's link location as shown above. Select the text and use Edit / Copy command.

Use Edit / Paste command to paste that text in your post and then select the text (so that it turns blue) as shown below:

Now click the Soundcloud icon. It is located on top right side of the post editor - as shown below (with an arrow):

Done!

Uploading Images

If anyone of you folks needs hosting space for his images (i.e. to show studio photos), Gearslutz has its account open on Imageshack:

ImageShack® - Online Photo and Video Hosting

Login: gearslutz
Password: pizza123

This way you no longer need to put images in attachments.

Prior to posting please resize image from the camera's printing resolution to standard monitor resolution like 800x600. There's included Resize option on Imageshack right after you upload.
